When a parent can no longer live safely at home due to dementia, illness, or aging, families are suddenly faced with emotional decisions, difficult conversations, and a home filled with a lifetime of memories.
I specialize in helping adult children navigate this exact situation.
As a Seniors Real Estate Specialist (SRES®), my work centers around supporting families through one of the most difficult transitions they will ever face — deciding what to do when a parent can no longer remain in their home safely.
Why This Work Is Personal to Me
I’ve lived this journey myself.
I helped my own mom downsize from her three-level home when the early signs of dementia and unsteadiness began to appear. As her condition progressed and she was no longer able to live on her own, my family and I walked through the difficult realities of hospitalization, safety concerns, and the transition into care.
I know firsthand how emotional, urgent, and overwhelming these decisions can become.
And I know how hard it is to know where to start.
How I Support Families Through This Transition
This experience, combined with my real estate background, allows me to support families in a way that goes far beyond a traditional real estate transaction.
I work alongside families to understand where they feel stuck, what feels most stressful and help turn that overwhelm into a clear, respectful plan for what comes next.
I provide guidance, trusted resources and steady support as families sort through belongings, prepare the home and decide on the right path forward.
This is more than selling a house.
It’s helping families move through one of the hardest chapters of their lives with clarity, compassion, and practical support.
